Admission Requirements

Teacher Preparatory Program
- Complete Associate in Arts (AA) degree
- All prerequisites completed with grade of C or higher
- Cumulative Transfer GPA: 2.5 or higher
- Complete Florida Teacher Certification Examinations (FTCE) - General Knowledge Test
  - State-mandated for admission to teacher preparation programs. We strongly encourage students to pass this test prior to transfer. For more information and to register for the General Knowledge Test, visit: FTCE.

Special Notes

We strongly encourage students to complete math and science courses every term to make satisfactory progress toward completing all prerequisites and AA degree prior to transfer.
The additional lower division course below is required for this program. We encourage students to take the course prior to completing the AA.
