Teacher Preparatory Program
- Complete Associate in Arts (AA) degree
- Complete all prerequisites with grade of C or higher
- Cumulative Transfer GPA: 2.5 or higher
- Complete Florida Teacher Certification Examinations (FTCE) - General Knowledge Test
  - State-mandated for admission to teacher preparation programs. We strongly encourage students to pass this test prior to transfer. For more information and to register for the General Knowledge Test, visit: FTCE.

MAC 1105 (College Algebra) is not required for this program. Select MGF or STA courses that satisfy the AA. If MGF or STA courses are included in the table(s) below, select those.
This major prepares students to shape the future by teaching and inspiring K–6 students while promoting multicultural understanding. Students are prepared to earn reading and TESOL endorsements and meet Florida certification requirements through coursework, fieldwork, and internships.
