There are no prerequisites for this program; it is designed for students who have an interest and aptitude in STEM disciplines, but who would like to expand their studies in other areas as a foundation for an interdisciplinary career, such as in health advocacy, research, and analytics. It is also designed for students planning to continue their studies in a graduate or professional program. Students work closely with academic advisors post transfer to select courses that align with their academic and career goals.
The Natural and Applied Sciences Medical Sciences major is available to students wanting to complete prerequisites for medical school or other health related professions/careers. This major serves only as a complement to the student's primary major, it is not a stand alone option.
