School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) Foreign Language Requirement: SIPA majors must demonstrate foreign language proficiency beyond the high school level. This requirement can be satisfied by completing a second level (or higher) college course in a foreign language (e.g., ASL II, French II, Spanish II) with a grade of C or higher, or by earning a passing score on an approved credit-by-exam (e.g., AP, CLEP).
