Cumulative Transfer GPA: 2.0 or higher

MAC 1105 (College Algebra) is not required for this program. Select MGF or STA courses that satisfy the AA. If MGF or STA courses are included in the table(s) below, select those.
School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) Foreign Language Requirement: SIPA majors must demonstrate foreign language proficiency beyond the high school level. This requirement can be satisfied by completing a second level (or higher) college course in a foreign language (e.g., ASL II, French II, Spanish II) with a grade of C or higher, or by earning a passing score on an approved credit-by-exam (e.g., AP, CLEP). There are no prerequisites for this program; however, the lower division courses below are required. Students majoring in Chinese Area Studies must choose Chinese I and II, and students majoring in Japanese Area Studies must choose Japanese I and II. Students must complete these courses with a grade of C or higher. We encourage students to take these courses prior to completing the AA.
