This major provides opportunities to gain knowledge and skills in early childhood development, instructional practices, assessment, planning, and family/community studies. Students will explore cognitive, language, and social-emotional growth in young children and learn about early education curricula. While it prepares professionals for the field, this program does not lead to teacher certification.
