Admission Requirements

Teacher Preparatory Program
- Complete Associate in Arts (AA) degree
- Complete all prerequisites with grade of C or higher
- Cumulative Transfer GPA: 2.5 or higher
- Complete Florida Teacher Certification Examinations (FTCE) - General Knowledge Test
  - State-mandated for admission to teacher preparation programs. We strongly encourage students to pass this test prior to transfer. For more information and to register for the General Knowledge Test, visit: FTCE.

Special Notes

MAC 1105 (College Algebra) is not required for this program. Select MGF or STA courses that satisfy the AA. If MGF or STA courses are included in the table(s) below, select those.
School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) Foreign Language Requirement: SIPA majors must demonstrate foreign language proficiency beyond the high school level. This requirement can be satisfied by completing a second level (or higher) college course in a foreign language (e.g., ASL II, French II, Spanish II) with a grade of C or higher, or by earning a passing score on an approved credit-by-exam (e.g., AP, CLEP).
