Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs
Degree
Pre-Law is not a major.
Admission Requirements
Refer to the transfer guide for your specific program/major.
Special Notes
Law School and the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) require strong college level reading, writing, analytical, and speaking skills. The strongly recommended courses below deepen discipline knowledge and enhance these skills. We encourage students to take as many of these courses as possible (as electives) prior to completing the AA.
FIU's Pre-Law Advising and Training Office (PLATO) is a great resource to learn more about the requirements for law school, planning, timelines, and financing. We encourage students to make an appointment with an FIU Pre-Law advisor immediately after transferring.
