DevOps Major: combines software development and IT operations to accelerate the delivery of high-quality software. DevOps professionals are involved from the earliest stages of a project, ensuring that operational and deployment requirements are integrated into the design. They play a critical role in implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), managing configurations, and maintaining system monitoring and reliability.
Software Major: provides a solid theoretical foundation in computer science and is well-suited for students who are passionate about programming and pursuing careers as software developers.
The department offers the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in ITonly as a second degree or second major, therefore, there is no transfer guide for the BA. Refer to the department and catalog links above for additional information.
